And then there were four! Kona, Trooper, Thor and Mercedes are enjoying a little bit of spoiling being the only puppies left! they love to run and play outside, especially with the snow melting!
This picture CRACKS ME UP! How can you not fall in love with those cute faces!! So this is how you get a picture of them all looking. I just might have to try all 11 at the bottom of the steps! Harper was deep in thought considering coming up the steps, but opted not to!
I was planning on taking the pups out in two groups, a group of 5 and a group of 6. Somehow I ended up with 7 and 4. This is group 1 playing in the snow with Mom and Dad. They had a ball chasing after them. I was AMAZED at how fast they are already chasing after Fischer across the driveway. Fischer and Maia got a little distracted with eachother and started wrestling eachother. Its just been in the past week that Maia has been back to her old self playing with Fischer and not just being annoyed by him. Glad to see her playing again! The pups were the least bit intimidated by the openness (previously they had just been on the deck in the snow). They were running around everywhere having a ball.
The red puppy (no collar today) and the black puppy, both boys. The black puppy is a more laid back and loves to be on his back and have his belly scratched. The red puppy is more timid and cautious with new things. The red puppy gives very playful out of the pen when just one or two of his siblings are with him. He gets a little overwhelmed with everyone trying to play with him.
This is "pink flowers" girls. She is very playful and loves to explore her surroundings. She likes to play with toys, and most of the time comes when she is called. She also likes to snuggle in your lap.
The pups had their first bath tonight because the baby wipes just couldn't get them clean enough. They didn't mind the water, but were a bit shaken afterwards.
Chris dried them with the hair dryer after I towel dried. Most didn't mind the dryer at all. I highly recommend everyone keep this up and introduce them to this early on, as Maia HATES the hair dryer and Fischer isn't a huge fan but knows to suck it up and lay down. They dry so much faster at this size!
Fischer was licking the puppy while she was exploring the living room (and scratching at her damp collar).
There are a few duplicates, but below are some quick individual photos of the pups taken tonight 4/1. No particular order. I'll try to look back and label later. I need to do better of jotting down the number of the photo and the color of the collar since you can't always see it (and I take multiple photos trying to get decent shot).
